Mac OS X

Symbiosis Design Studios specializes in development and deployment of Mac OS X designs for business solutions using Macintosh hardware and software. We have developed on Mac OS technologies since 1992 with Macintosh Plus hardware, and now have accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in using the latest Mac OS X technologies, including Objective-C/Cocoa to develop a customized solution to meet your specific business needs. We are an Apple Developer Connection Member and have Apple Hardware servicing experience.

iPhone/iPod Touch

Web Design and Production

We offer planning, layout, design and production of professional web sites using Cocoa technologies, such as Dashcode and Web Objects Builder, also Dreamweaver, Shockwave and Flash and can provide expertise on a Time and Materials basis, for a web site deployment which is fully customized to meet your business needs.

BSD Unix/Linux

We have over 30 years of BSD Unix experience and have worked with a variety of Linux technologies, including Red Hat and Ubuntu. These compliment our expertise of Darwin on Mac OS X as the most popular choices currently for custom applications, including custom server applications.

Object-Oriented Design and Development

We have a deep and passionate interest in developing with object-oriented technologies, rooted in training received direct from AT&T (Bell Labs) where the C++ object-oriented programming language was invented.

Database Design and Development

Our database expertise includes development of solutions utlizing MySQL, Oracle, Sybase and FileMaker Pro. We offer a range of service from database requirements specification, design, development, through to deployment on a customer-hosted site. We can provide remote Database Administration, and data migration from customer's existing databases, even from Windows-based platforms to Unix/Linux-hosted platforms, which offer lower operating costs.
